A Play In A Day 25th Feb
We see the return of the 6th Annual Play In A Day on February 25th at the Doncaster Secondary College Theatre.
Play In A Day is raw, exciting, and innovative theatre - where it takes only 24 hours to write, direct, rehearse and perform a series of short plays. A group of 36 people meet on Friday evening, where they are divided into 6 groups, that consist of a writer, director and cast. They are given a theme, which is to be the basis of the 10 minute play. Each group gets together to discuss the theme, then leaves the writer to to put a script together overnight. The director and cast meet the writer on Saturday morning, then start rehearsing the newly written script, which will be performed at 8.00pm, that evening at the Doncaster Secondary College Theatre, Church Road, Doncaster.
Tickets are $15.00, which include a light supper after the evenings performances. Bookings can be made on 1300 650 209, or tickets purchased at the door.
